CAI?
Looking for more noise out of my turbos on the 3.5 eco
I believe intake will help with that.
I don't want it to be annoying loud however
What's my best option? I'm intrigued by AFE Stage 2
Thanks in advance.

I recently bought the Full-Race CAI, and honestly I think I am going to take it back off and go back to stock. Sounds very strange to me from inside the cab under light acceleration. Hear alot of "sucking" sound, almost like a big boost or vac leak. Double triple checked all connections and they are spot on. Im just not a fan of this noise...lol This coming from a person that has a CAI on all of his vehicles, even on my wife's. Dont want to discourage you, so maybe wait for others to chime in?
Lol, wish I would have before this purchase. I did a quick YouTube search for F150CAI and sorted thru til I found a few with in cabin sound. Maybe you could do the same and see what you think. To me its bad enough that this 3.5TT V6 will NEVER sound even close to the burly V8....I compared it to my 3.5 V6 in my 2006 Altima SER and man there is just no comparison. I wish it was. The VQDE35 makes my truck sound wimpy.
. I inquired as to why and I was told its mosly due to the firing order of this engine. I dunno....

Our Windstorm CAI bring out a really wicked sound upon acceleration on both the ecoboost and N/A trucks, also we use a dry filter so no nasty oily particles making their way into the engine, if you are looking for anymore info drop us a PM or give us a call at 313-561-5500 and we can take care of you.
