Need to know the year make and model. Sounds like a low charged system and/or a bad expansion valve. But .......... Who did the initial parts canon, I mean work? Were Ford parts used?

Refrigerant pressure always tested good. System was discharged and recharged twice and then again for a third time when expansion valve was changed. The firing of said parts canon was NOT random discharge. The shop was brought to a shop and lots of conversation was had trying to figure this out. There was also a service bulletin put out about the evaporator, so even Ford was firing a parts canon. Are we done with parts canon jokes now? If so, thanks

Refrigerant was drawn down and pressure tested and refilled twice, then a third time after expansion valve was changed. New compressor, condenser, and evaporator and several sensors. It’ll blow cold air but not consistently
People here like to be helpful, and some people are disappointed when they're unable to provide useful diagnosis because the simplest pieces of information were omitted from the question. The reasons people tend to omit useful information from questions they're asking fall into one of several categories:

Reasons for a lack of context and detail in questions:
* No face-to-face interaction: Online communication lacks nonverbal cues like tone of voice and body language that are crucial for understanding nuance in in-person conversations.
* Assumptions about shared context: Users may assume that others in the forum share the same background knowledge, making them less likely to provide basic details that might seem obvious to them.
* Ease of being brief: It is often easier and faster to type a short question than to take the time to fully describe a situation or problem.
* Anonymity and distance: The relative anonymity of internet forums can make users feel less accountable for providing complete information. It's also difficult to verify the details users might provide about themselves.
* "Outsourcing" of context: Users may not fully consider the context needed to get a good answer, leading to an "illusion of understanding" where they feel they know more than they do, notes Taylor & Francis Online.
* Overconfidence in existing knowledge: A person might ask a question without realizing the gaps in their own knowledge, leading them to ask a question that seems complete to them but is missing key details for others.
* Forgetting details: In a forum setting, it can be easy to forget to mention something that seems minor at the time but is actually critical to the problem at hand.

A well composed question would include the model/trim/year/engine, and other specifics that might differentiate your vehicle from others. Such a question would also lay out what you know about the approach that was taken in diagnosing. You mentioned parts, but didn't mention why, for each part. I assume you must know this information since you're going to court.

Anyway, the anonymity of keyboard interactions allows people to quickly escalate, and that happened here. I think just taking a step back and realizing that people mostly are here because they want to help is a good approach.

PS You say nothing about the system being vacuumed down! LOL!
He did say discharged / recharged three times the last being when the expansion valve was changed out. He may not know the semantics but a reputable shop would know what to do.

okay.

One and only warning. I cleaned the needless garbage banter out of this thread, if it comes back, thread will be closed and punitive action will be taken if needed

Default AC

The AC refrigerant flow is very basic. The controls and sensors dont help. A photo of the control head and parts list accomplished. It seems to be a ground problem on the control side. Inputs, speculation here with other possibilities.
demographic location for ac load helps too. Texas or Canada..
A shot in the dark.
Cheers
