Default A/C buttons

Tried searching the forum with no luck. Looking at doing a 4" to 8" Sync 3 swap. I've seen the 8" radio bezels on ebay and such, but they all seem to have heated seat buttons. I was curious if you can remove all those buttons and replace with my current ones that do not have heated seats. Has anyone tried this?

I'm talking the physical buttons from the 4" to the 8" bezel. Looks like the same size and locations.

Default You can do it....

Yes, you can. When you take the bezel off there are torx screws on the back holding it together. You can physically take the center button section and controls out and move them from one to the other. If I remember correctly there are 2 ribbon cables that need to be disconnected and reconnected. Pretty self explanatory, just make sure the HEAT/AC dials are in the same place; I learned that the hard way, had to pull it apart a 2nd time.

Awesome! That makes my 8" bezel search much easier. Thank you!
