Ever haul a bunch of 12' long 2" x 12" deck joists in the back of a 5.5' bed? I did it with a ~6 foot bed in a Dodge Ram ... not pretty ...

Fits in the garage with 3" to spare.
I have a three car attached garage, and a year ago, I built a 24' x 36' three car detached garage (pole barn) with a second floor. I positioned it so the short side meets the driveway. I installed two 8' x 9' garage doors on the end. I did this knowing my next truck(s) would be on the long side. Hopefully, they never make an F150 that is > ~36 feet long! LoL.

If it's just the look that is bothering you I would consider evening the look out with a level an a slightly larger and more aggressive set of tires. When I look at factory 6.5 bed I am bothered also as I've had one on a 10 lariat but they seem to come together more evenly if you fill the wheel wells up a bit.

Bologna.

And, for the record, I'm a current 3.5L EB owner.
Amen!!
