Default But.. Is it a cyclone?

Should be an easy question.

Is the 3.5L Ti-vct (not ecoboost) a "cyclone" engine?

And the not easy question. We know that some components are shared with the ecoboost, but are they the same engine cast?

Yes, it is a Cyclone.

I'm pretty sure they're not the exact same cast, but I believe they're all derived from the same casting.

My understanding is that the EcoBoost block is the cyclone block. The difference is with the internals and obviously the heads & manifolds...but the block is the same.
