Hi. New to the forum, but have been lurking awhile. I've been a Chevy person my entire adulthood, but have recently decided to purchase a F-150. A Crew Cab, 4x4 sport with a 2.7. My question is the truck has a build date of Sept. 2017, but it only has around 30 miles. Any concerns with a truck sitting on the lot for this long? Any kind of recalls I need to verify were fixed before I pick up the truck?
Welcome to the Forum mes311.
Some more information might be helpful, such as where you bought it from, whether it was a dealer vehicle etc.
I drive a 1994 XLT that was actually built in 1993, so production dates and shipping might have something to do with it.
I am not aware of any recalls as I drove an older model, but keep poking around, there is definitely someone here who can help you make a decision.
Just remember, when in doubt...
Mine 2017 dealer stock was built in October 2016 but held at Ford (10 speed transmission) until January 2017 when I purchased it. I didn't think twice about it.
