Broken headlight tabs. How important?
Looking at buying some headlights. How important are the 2 inside broken tabs on this light? Seller says not a big deal. Since there are 5 other tabs.

Don't know what year truck you have, "no signature", but if it's a 15-17 you should be alright. How the crap did those get broken?

Since he's looking to buy them....I bet they came off a wrecked truck.
OP...beware, on another site there is a guy who's headlight got knocked in a minor fender bender that broke a tab.
What everyone missed is that the housing got cracked at that tab and water started getting in there which killed the headlight.
That probably won't happen with yours...but check them out very closely if you decide to buy them.

All of the tabs on ANY ONE SIDE being broken is a no-no, even if it doesn't appear to move much. The housing will vibrate while driving, which can cause the elevator to move (headlamp aim drops over time) and filaments to wear out prematurely. Best to avoid, unless there is enough material left for you to attach some sheet metal to create a new tab.
