Default Brake problems anybody?

I have a bare bones 2018 F-150 and it's working perfectly but I ran into this article and it's got me thinking now. Anybody can give me some more info on this?

Sure. Drive your truck and enjoy the heck out of it. Check the brake fluid every time you change the oil.

^^^This. If you are checking your brake fluid regularly, you will never run into the issues that idiots that never check fluids have to deal with. Top off the reservoir as needed, you will be golden. ALL master cylinders leak some amount of oil, it's how the far side of the seal gets lubricated. These aren't leaking out overnight, I bet all of the vehicles that suddenly lost braking hadn't had the reservoir checked in at least six months, more probably a year, or maybe not once after rolling off the dealer's lot.

Technically you're not supposed to top off the fluid... when the brakes are nearing their end of life, the brake warning light should illuminate as a result of the fluid drop.
