For electronic parking brake? Here is what is listed. That's what I did... nothing changed after actuating the brake.

The WSM procedure uses a pressure bleeder. It also says to do the rear passenger side first, then the rear driver side, then the front passenger side, and last the front driver side.
NOTE: Due to the complexity of the fluid path within the rear integral parking brake calipers, it is necessary to apply and release the parking brake during the bleed procedure.
Apply and release the parking brake 5 times.
Loosen the bleeder screw. Loosen: 180°
Leave open until clear, bubble-free fluid flows and then tighten the bleeder screw to specification. Refer to: Specifications (206-00 Brake System - General Information).
Repeat as necessary.

For my 2018 I needed a Motive 0100 screw top bleeder kit. Check to see if you have a screw top or tri-wing top. Some will use a 0107 bleeder kit.

Correct, my limited understanding is that maintenance mode is only require for a pad service where you intend to retract the piston?
