Default Box side step install

How do you install bed side steps on a 5.5 bed? Like how do they attach to the truck?

Where do you order/purchase them? From dealer or did you find a better after market? I would like to do this for my wife. Thanks

look on fords accessory site and go to Tascaparts.com and type in the part number. They will have them cheaper. What size bed does your truck have that you'll be getting them for?

Default Question on removing box steps

So I removed mine this afternoon. Does this bracket with 3 bolts also come off? Seems pointless under there without the steps to attach to it. The issue I see is that there is a spot weld on the other side of the picture, so if I remove the 3 bolts it looks like there is still a point attached to the frame via a weld.

Am I nuts or should I just take the things off?
