So my transfer case in my 2016 lariat decided to take a dump during a snow storm I’m looking for a rebuild kit with the clutch pack or a replacement but all the junk yards and fb marketplace don’t have any and ford said it would be around $1500 for just the parts a new one is around 2000 I was just curious if anyone knows about a rebuild kit or maybe if I can upgrade to something better or just throw a normal 3 position tcase in?

Lots of sources come up.
Rebuilds are in the $1500 and up cost range.
Did not search long enough to come up with just the parts, but there must be some sources for them.
At least you will get a better idea than from just one source.

I don't think you can just "throw in" the normal T case, I know going from that to the torque-on-demand that you have requires a few things.

Where are you located? Did you check car-part.com to see if any yards have the ToD case?

 

I searched on car-part and called some places that said they had one or two but when i did they said they had nothing…
