Default Bluetooth CD player?

Since Ford no longer believes in CDs, nor 3.5mm aux input jacks, but old farts like me still have hundreds of them, is anyone using a portable Bluetooth CD player paired to the audio system to play CDs? Any recommendations?

I already know I could convert my CDs to mp3 and put them on thumb drives if I wanted to spend all my free time doing that.

I don't know of any Bluetooth CD players, but that doesn't mean they're not out there.

Before I got my new F150 with the USB flash drive capability, I used a small FM transmitter on my iPod to go through the radio system. It wasn't the best, as here in Philly, it's hard to find a "dead" frequency on which you can broadcast, but depending on your location, it may work. There are a lot of radio stations here, so there's a lot of interference.

It works with anything with a 3.5mm jack, so if you have a portable CD player, it would work.

Good luck.

20 years ago they used to have fm transmitters that you put in the audio Jack of the device you want to listen to. Then you just tune your cars radio into the fm channel of the transmitter.
Edit ignore didn't see comment above

Not trying to spend your hard earned money but if you don't want to rip your CD's there are services out there that will rip them for you for around $1 a CD. You could probably find an 8 year old to do your whole collection for $50-$100 and they'd be laughing all the way to the bank.

I'm sure you already thought of this but a service like Apple music is amazing to us old guys. This morning on my way to work a DJ mentioned Teslas first album and how he first heard it in 1987. So on my unbelievably long commute I pulled up the "album" and listened to it straight through.

Good luck with your search 👍

I do have Amazon Prime music... and a ton of music downloaded to my phone. And SiriusXM, which I listen to both through the truck radio (live) and through my phone (on demand shows). I found a rechargeable Bluetooth CD player on Amazon (I'm not the only one who misses my vehicle player!), but I'm going to think about sending my CDs to a service. 30 years of CDs is too big a project for me to tackle a bite at a time.
