Default Bluetooth??

My Android pairs with my truck OK. I can use my phone OK. My problem is when I play music it comes out in just little tiny bits. I've had problems before but I don't know if they're related to my phone or Bluetooth or Sync3 and they just sorta went away. I haven't tried Android Auto after having this problem. I just can't make myself care for it.

I haven't tried Android Auto. I would take that to mean I'm using Android.
I don't know if the problem is with Sync3. Explains a lot.
It's a 15-18 F150 forum. I guess it could be a 2018. But it's a 2016.

A S3?
Are you up to date V2.2
the 15 had sync 2 and 3

But hey you are looking for answers not I. Mine works fine. Not trying to be a smart A. But Android is the OS not the phone.

sounds like bt is limiting the bitrate.

And is the music stored on the phone or is it streaming using cell data? I've streamed from a number of android phones, htc and motorola, and done local media as well, and haven't had problems with the bt transmission stuttering or not keeping up.

I'd unpair the phone and truck, re-pair them, and make sure your bt connection on the phone allows phone and media to be shared.
