Default Blis Bracket Screw Replacement

Have a set of aftermarket Blis tails arriving tomorrow and have everything setup to swap from my stock halogens to the led’s except the screws to seal up the Blis opening. I’ve searched for the part number (W715133-S900) and see that the price per screw is around $3.50 usd before shipping and from a dealer here in Canada it’s $6.00 per screw.

Im saying “screw” it, I won’t pay almost $50 for 8 screws. Anyone that’s done the swap know if Home Depot or other stores would have a screw to fit in it’s place size wise with a similar thread pattern so it doesn’t strip the threads already there?

So I found some screws in my barn that were extremely close that I had to cut down the end to fit but I’m confident they didn’t damage the plastic threads. Got the lights in this afternoon and started a review thread in the lighting forum.
