Default Bilstein Torque Spec

I'm wanting to install the Bilstein 5100 rear shocks, but was wondering if most installed them on your own or if you had a shop do it? If you did it yourself, did you actually torque it to spec or just use a impact driver until tight?

Sorry Im a wanna be tinkerer and try to be handy

The Rear 5100 shocks are a piece of cake to install. Maybe 15 min/per side.... {Unless you have to remove wheel well liners--then add another 20-30mins}.
Can be easily be done w/o taking off the wheels/tires, no lift or jack needed.
Leave the green plastic banding ON until both top & bottom bolts are in place--elsewise it's a bear to compress the shock & install bottom bolt. Torque Rear Shocks upper/lower nuts- 66ftlbs. I used a 1/2"-drive Digital Torque Adapter to check the torque.
re-install wheel well liners if'n you took them off.

Oh yeah, don't forget---> Bilstein logo faces UP & on the left/ black rubber boot & drain holes face down toward the ground!
