Default Bilstein 5100's

I've got these on the front, set at 1.76", and on the back too. rest of suspension is stock. Had them for about 3 years now. anyway, just put a camper shell on the back and now i'm thinking I want some rake back in the truck. I tow a camper and with all the weight now I get more sag than i like. Anyway, just curious if anyone of you have adjusted your bil 5100's back to the stock setting after riding with a leveled truck for a while? should be simple enough, any new issues come up?

What issues were you thinking there may be? Other than an alignment.

well, that's a good point. honestly wasn't even thinking alignment. I was under there looking at one of the struts yesterday and its not clean, not too rusty though. but people talk about how bad the 5100 body wears, rusty etc. anyway, i was just wondering if I would have an issue getting the clip to seat into another setting after the body has worn some? maybe id be better just buying new shocks for the front. not super expensive but i don't want to spend the cash if I don't have to. they don't seem worn out, no excess body roll, no bouncing.

You could put airbags on the back to restore rake. Might even be cheaper than pulling the struts!
