Default Bilstein 5100 issue

Finally got the fronts installed the other day set on the second highest setting since my level kit wasn’t any good anymore. Driving it home i notice quite a loud metallic clunk sound. Over every major bump or railroad tracks.
the guy who did it said he notice the upper control arms were quite close to the springs which could be causing the sound. I don’t think that would be it since I didn’t have this sound before they were put in. Any idea? Could it be the upper ball joints? My lowers were replaced almost a year ago.

I would check the upper ball joints. Mine have done the same thing twice after swapping struts

Once I got to my brother-in laws place I had him help me look for the issue since I wasn't quite sure what I was looking for. After crawling underneath and rocking the truck he noticed the sway bar links weren't tightened. They were left loose. Thankfully it wasn't more money spent.
