Default Bilstein 5100 + Eibach springs? Possible?

Not sure if this has been covered or not, but while looking on Stage3 I came across their 2017 3.5 build and they originally went with the 5100’s but then swapped out for the Eibach + Eibach spring kit to bump the front up to 2.7”.
The stance and ride height is exactly what I’m looking for.

So I was wondering, is it possible to use the Eibach springs with the Bilstein 5100 kit? They appear to be of the same specs.

I haven’t read anything (yet) on the Eibach ride quality being greatly improved like I have with the Bilstein, and maybe they are similar. Just got me to thinking I could combine the two and get the perfect match.

The eibach springs are for a 3" lift if memory serves ( check the specs with the eibach shock). Why not take a look at the bilstein 6112 that have a upgraded spring and make the truck handle great. I've got em and they're a great option for you to consider. I have a thread on here with pics and they can be had for a few dollars more but are engineered to work together. You probably could still use the 5100 on the rear.

They are the springs that you can combo with the Eibach 2” level kit in order to give it another .7” of up front lift.

I guess i didn't put it the right way. I don't think the eibach springs will work as well with the bilstein 5100 shocks. They are too long and will have more preload on them. I don't know if stage 3 carries shorter eibach springs they make them. Ask them if they'll work together and I think they'll recommend the eibach shock is longer and more compatible. I could be wrong . I had some interest in the eibach setup but went with the Bilstein 6112 because more capacity and compatibility with shock valving. The eibachs are engineered to work together for the same reason.

So possible maybe but not optimal would be my guess on your question, but the eibach setup will give you the extra lift you seek. Eibach shocks are a definate upgrade over stock if that helps you. Ask them about ride on 5100's vs eibach setup they've built test trucks with both.

Thank you Skeet for the info. I will try and get ahold of them today. I called yesterday but my 10 month old daughter didn’t think I should be on hold and not paying attention to her haha

Actually the Eibach springs are ONLY compatible with Eibach, or 5100 struts. So rock on
