I think the 13th gen has different ride height settings than the 12th gen, but it's still telling you didn't get the lift they mentioned, even with the lighter EB engine. Assuming that shoving them on the top lift setting doesn't really compromise the ride/operation with so much preload, i might just take the risk and compensate with rear blocks if needed.

This is my plan as well. My Eibachs (just shocks) are supposed to be here tomorrow, going to install at 2” and if I need a rear block I’ll go that route too.

When you say, just shocks? what do you mean? the front units? (shock absorber for it's full term, usually is a general term for both the spring and damper)

I had Bilsteins on a 13th Gen. there’s actually a whole thread with 100’s of replies of people posting real world results of how much lift they went with.

Bilstein 5100’s from Stage 3: These shocks allow you to set your 2015-2020 F150's front ride height to stock, +.79", +1.26", +1.75", or +2.10" of leveling by using their adjustable spring seat tabs.

I’d just plan on sitting 1/4 inch lower then whatever setting you pick.

only people who have gone higher either installed wrong or swapped out the stock spring for an aftermarket spring.

At this point, i'm thinking i should probably just save money and go with the 5100 4 piece kit and use my stock springs.
My question currently is going to be whether i go for the top lift amount on the front or just the 1.5 lift - i think my SCREW V8 would be the heaviest truck at the front, especially at it's trim level, so it wouldn't get the full 2.25 inches.
you can use the front shocks with the OEM springs to net you up to 2" lift or use the Eibach springs paired with the shock on the lowest setting to gain you 2.7" lift

I didn't know that thread existed, although if it's for 13th gens, that might be why, i know this is a 13th gen section, but i have a 12th gen and i only recently found out the lift heights by Bilstein are different between the gens.

I'm wary of using anything on the top setting that just uses preload for the lift - Stage3 answered my question today about that:
The only issue with the 2.25" setting is that the preload on the spring does make on-road ride quality a bit stiff. If you want to maximize ride quality, then you should probably use a lower ride height setting.
