Default Bigger discounts than normal this summer?

So with the new 2015 F150 being fairly well "shown" at various auto shows, every media outlet etc etc, will this summer's discounts be even larger than normal to clear the '14s out in preparation for the '15s? I sure hope so anyways, looking to pick up a 5.0l Regular cab short box 4x4 STX...

It is possible depending on sales numbers. But IMO it could go the opposite direction, if the switch to aluminum encourages a lot of people to get a '14.

I was reading in one of the financial papers today that dealers are already concerned there will be a shortage of F150's this year as Ford shuts down plants to retool for the 2015's. A shortage means fewer incentives.

I expect to see some very good incentives. '13s in my area were going for $14k off sticker a month ago, as long as '14 inventory holds up, they should have the same or more incentives.

I was working at a dealer in 2008 when the 2009 Ram came out. That dealer had a sale on 08s to move the last 200 or so. 50% OFF!!! It killed the used market on those trucks for a year or so but man did they sell. A 4wd Laramie quad cab was $21k before taxes and fees.

Here there was a ram dealer giving away a free boat or car (neon or dart, whatever the small car was at the time) with the purchase of an 08 ram.

I was browsing the classifieds and found 2013 supercrew eco's fully loaded selling for 31k. 14k off sticker. Great deal for Canada.

I am sure Ford is going to want to get as many 15 models on the road as possible. GM gave some great incentives to get the 13 models off the lots to make room for the redesign 14. Hoping Ford will do the same.

If i remember correctly, last summer's employee pricing for 13's was a Regular Cab Short box 4x4 with the 5.0, 3.55 ELD, and whatever the package was that included fog lights, Ford sync etc etc (was it 202A...?) were around ~23k (Canada), so i'm hoping for 21-22...

A lot of people dont like the idea of aluminum so to entice the buyers to get into the 2015 i think they will rebate them nicely.
