Your frame should have small square holes where the clips go into the frame. The clip slide into the frame and them form a nut to bolt the step too. take off all the bolts and clips test fit the step to the frame and visualize where each piece goes. it is not that complicated. i installed my 6.5 steps in under an hour.

Got one side on and a clip flew off and is somewhere in the frame of the truck. So after I get the new hardware I'll make a install video and a how to guide. There are 0 instructions ANYWHERE on the web. I spent 2 hours searching and came up with nothing.

The clips go on the frame rail where the steps bolt on to accept the bolts to hold the bracket. Did you figure out what step was L and R. I just picked up a set of these last week to put on my 2011. And for the record the instructions don't really tell ya alot its just as goo to figure it out in your head.

Thats good. The install papers just have poor illustrations on it and no text. So you have to guess anyway.

Just out of curiosity. What are the 2 things on the brackets that look like guide pins. Or is that what they are??? Not like it matters as i will have to cut them off or make a new brackets anyway.
