Line-X and an OEM bed mat. I always remove the bed mat before trading in to keep for the next truck.

I got the factory spray-in then added the bedrug as it is so much easier on the knees.

After selling liners for years I put a Ford drop in in mine. Drop ins protect against heavy damage better than spray ins.

drop in for this very very reason with aluminum bed. Rot underneath from rubbed paint will never be an issue, and they have better impact/puncture resistance which alum doesn’t fare as well as steel with. With a normal steel bed, I’d be more inclined to do a spray in.

I had the spray grip stuff once, but prefer the cheap drop in plastic because it makes it much easier moving anything heavy in and out, just slides. And it gives a little.

This is the exact reason I chose Line-X. I've had the bedliners on previous trucks and they're very slippery, especially when hauling treated lumber!

Much more secure....right up until the time I NEED the item I'm hauling to slide out! LOL I guess what my Dad told me IS true--you can't have it all.

Line X
If your Line X chipped it was not installed correctly, it will also be guaranteed, Not only is the Line X thicker then the Factory they cover the under side of the tailgate the factory liner doesn't.

I went with BedRug. Like mentioned before it is easy on the knees. At times I will lay in the bed of the truck while on the phone. I have had a pallet of sod back there and everything washed right out.

Lol yes, with the plastic liner, straps are mandatory. Maybe I’ll invent the 50/50 liner, lineX on the left, plastic on the right
