Default Bed stake pocket depth

Does anyone with easy access to the bed stake pockets know how far down one can go before hitting the bed size? I'm interested in the full width / length of the opening projected down. Ideally I'd like this for the 8' box size as that's what I have on a 2018, but I suspect at least on most of the pockets it's probably similar if not identical on other configurations. It also gives me a starting point.

Also would be helpful if someone has a fairly exact measurement of the opening size.

Mine were covered from the factory, and not too long after that I had the ARE cap installed so measuring isn't exactly trivial.

if you crawl under the truck you can see the front ones and get a good idea if what you want to do will work.

Default Mid / Back Differences

I'll give that a shot if it's not wet or freezing.

Are the clearances likely to be the same on the middle and rear ones? I honestly can't remember if there is a center set or not though as it's been over a year since it was visible.

I'd sort of wanted to put in some linear actuators to lift / lower the cap for those time when the cargo fits in the bed, but not through the reduced opening size of the rear window.

2019 5.5' bed.

Rear pocket, 2 1/4" X 1 5/8" (all holes the same), 6 3/4" deep to top of plastic bed rail cover.

Of note, the front "pocket" on short beds have no "pocket" just an open hole in the metal bed rail and not the plastic cover. Drop something in there and it hits the ground.
