Default Bed size? Same as current gen?

Wonder if the bed has the same dims as the current generation trucks.

I plan on getting a Bak tonneau cover soon for my current 2013 but I will probably end up trading the truck in 2016.

Sure would be nice to be able to just take off my tonneau and put it on the new truck.

You're making an inquiry that can't be answered with any assurances. The question is not one of dimensions, but of shape. i.e. what will be the nature of the spoiler shape or other configurations that is being integrated into the tailgate of future models.

I am pretty sure that I heard that the bed height has been lowered, think the other dimensions are the same.

The truck is wider and the box is slightly wider, longer and lower.

The drop in bed liner and cover are both late availability. This tells me the bed is indeed different.

Oddly, faced with a similar concern for the Bedrug in my 2011, I had gone out to Bedrug to look up the part number. Thought it was strange that they list the 2015 in their part finder, but have little doubt that its not accurate (it shows same part number for 2014 and 2015) so guessing more of a place holder than anything. I'd sure be ticked off if I ordered that under the assumption it was the proper liner only to find out later that it didn't fit. I have an Access cover I was considering whether I could transfer that as well. I guess either wait/see, or trade in on a '14 now instead. Some of the features of the '15 that we already have on our Taurus today are appealing...

I just ordered a HD Diamondback cover for my 2014 F150 FX4 screw 5.5 bed; without me asking the db guy told me that the cover would fit 2015-up, measurements had been checked. Keep in mind the db cover sits on top of the bed rails....
