Default Bed shelf thoughts

I would like a bed shelf. I ONLY need it for the times I am loading a few pieces of sheetrock or a piece of plywood. I just don't want to have to unload all my tools each time. It just needs to hold a small amount of wieght I am thinking it sits 4 inches below the bed top. Anyone ever seen such a thing?

Do you have a bed cover of any kind installed? If not, I'm thinking of a shelf that is supported by the bed rails. Depending on what it was made out of it might not even need other supports.

I do have a BakFlip cover and a Bedbug Liner. Just have to imagine there is something out there before I make something.

I'm not aware of anything sold like that. I have a feeling you'd have to fabricate something.

Bak makes a tool box thing called the bak box. It hangs under the cover, but above the floor. Check out their website since you their liner and cover already
