Default Bed Rubbers

Not really sure what the correct nomenclature is, but I'm talking about the rubber strips that keep the dirt out between the cab and the bed. I too have been chasing the rear leaf clunk/knock, and I have noticed these strips will make noise if they are not kept lubed with silicone. The noise is almost like the leaf noise, just more subtle, and it sounds like its in the back seat. Has anyone noticed that these make noise, and has anyone come up with a permanent fix other than a silicone wipe down after they get wet?

Has no one noticed these rubber strips make noise audible in the cab? Mine rub against the cab, and when I wipe mine down with silicone spray, the noise disappears.

What, do I smell? Have I become the smelly kid?
