That carpeted 2x10 is a nice touch.

I wound up going with Dual Liner. Delivery was quick and installation was easy. However, I have a slight problem with a small gap in the right front corner. Couldn't resolve it no matter how I put the front panel in so finished installing the whole package. I sent an e-mail to Dual Liner's customer service. They asked for pictures, which I sent and here's their response: Good Afternoon George,

Thank you for sending us the photos, they are helpful to us what you are experiencing. As with all manufacturing processes, DualLiner observes a standard variance on the geometry of the DualLiner plastic components. Beyond the manufacturing variance, parts are also subject to tolerances and change due to environmental conditions. Both polyethylene and rubber components are effected by heat, cold, sun and other environmental factors. Due to these tolerances it is important to note that manufactured parts may shift and change depending on environmental factors for the life of the product. Most likely this panel will shift and close this gap up a little after some use. I would not worry to much, your truck is and will be protected in its current installation. Please let me know if you have any other questions or concerns. Have a great rest of your day.

Thank you for supporting our Family owned business and American Made Product.

Best Regards,
Not sure what to make of this response? I have a

cover coming, so you won't see the small gap (1/2") but I expected more for $400.00.

My truck came with the dealer installed spray in bed liner, and over all it's a nice install. I however have been watching for that one special bed mat to place over the spray in liner to help prevent dents and help keep things from sliding around in the bed.

I came across the Smartliner bed mat. It fits like a glove, the edges are flared upward to meet the sides of the bed. The flare of the edges also will keep any liquid spills on the mat and prevent the spill from running out of the containment of the mat. The rubber compound is very welcoming to my old knees when I have reason to crawl into the bed of my truck. And the rubber compound does not allow for anything to slip or slide at all. If you set a box, even an empty box down on the mat it is almost like it was glued in place...downside is that cannot slide anything across the mat.

I ordered mine off of Amazon for $99 delivered PRIME.

Sounds like my love life.

Yes, it's two weeks late but I think it was worth it.

I would be upset if that gap was in a high-wear area. Likely won't notice after a couple weeks even without a cover.

If you want dent protection, a plastic drop in liner is going to be your best bet. The spray in liners don't provide any cushion if something drops in the bed. I have the ford drop in liner and don't typically have a problem with things sliding around, but you can always put a bed mat on top of a drop in liner or just a $20 cargo bar can help keep things in place, which is what I do for groceries and things to keep them at the tailgate end of the bed.

Another benefit of a drop in liner is if you have a bed cover, any water that may leak in just runs in the channels in the bed liner and doesn't get the bottom of your stuff wet.

I checked out the smartliner bed mat liner and it looks like a very good product. The website is selling it for 119 and amazon is 129 now. Their web site does give a 15% discount for military and first responders. Also shipping is free.
