I ordered the bed divider with the truck. Did not like that you had to take out to haul something long. I ordered the the bed extender and now have both! The bed extender can be split in the middle and stored along each side. It is always in the truck.

 

I got the extender and not the divider. The extender, when flipped around the other way (so it's in the bed and not on the tailgate), gives you a little bed-divider like section. I use it for groceries and other small stuff.

 

Just picked up the bed extender...I just wish Ford had pre-drilled the 3 holes on each side of the Ford drop in plastic bed liner to make the install a little easier vs. me trying to figure out what size holes that need to be opened up in the bed liner

 

Does anyone know if the bed divider and extender can be installed on the 2016 5.5 foot Supercrew at the same time? My dealer is trying to tell me they can't but I thought they should be able to. Also what about the side pivot storage boxes? I was interested in those as well but they are saying I can only install the boxes, the divider, or the extender.

 

The divider and extender can be installed at the same time if you put the divider up at the front of the bed.

 

Decided to go with the extender. The 5.5 box is pretty small for a divider and I felt the extender would be more useful.
