2x6 cut to 64.75" with some matte black paint works well for me. Used some black adhesive thick felt at the top to hold it snug in place.

I have used the HF one and it worked almost an entire 6 months. It stopped working then it bent and went into the trash. I went to a truck stop and bought the ones that fit across the back of a semi trailer it is stronger better built and has lasted my several years. You can catch them on sale at pilot or flying J I pretty sure they are called safety t locks they are sold in different lengths.

Check out the video.
This one is kind of cool if you get the attachment with it. It says sold separately.
Nevermind, I just read the reviews on it and they're not good. :-/

I started with a 2x10 cut to fit between these Amazon.com: Erickson 59149 E-Track Wood Beam Socket: Automotive) so the bottom piece can be rotated horizontal and removed when I need the whole bed length. These pics were taken during construction. Has since been painted with rattle car bed liner spray and blends right in

For some reason the text didn't post correctly and wouldn't edit correctly. Should have said this:
I started with a 2x10 cut to fit between these box link brackets. 2x10 was too awkward & cumbersome to get in and out. Decided on this 2 piece design that is much more user friendly. 2x4 cut to fit and scrap piece of 3/4 plywood cut to fit.
I also replaced the gate latches in the pics with lift off hinges so the bottom piece can be rotated horizontal and removed when I need the whole bed length. These pics were taken during construction. Has since been painted with rattle car bed liner spray and blends right in
