Bed difference for Leer

Hi Guys,

I did some searches and didn't find the info I'm looking for, but probably been discussed. Will a cap off a 2014 6.5 bed work on my 2018 6.5 bed? They seem to be close in top dimensions.

The 2015-2019 tailgate has a curvature at the top edge that the 2014 does not have. My LEER 100XQ rear glass and trim on my 2018 won’t work on a 2014.

My 2013 ARE didn't fit my 2018 truck. The 2013 was too wide when I put it on my 2018. I didn't look at any other dimensions as it would fit after that. I found a gently used cap on Craigs/facebook market place for under $400. It was pretty loaded and I am guessing I got lucky
