BCM failure
I own a 2018 f150 lariat eco boost. I purchased it in 2022 with less than 100k miles. In 2024 my lights and alarm would start going off as if someone was trying to break in. It did this for a few days until I got tired of it and decided to take it to a certified mechanic. He told me my BCM was bad. So I paid almost 2k and a few months later the same thing started happening again. I decided to take it to ford. They confirmed it was a bad CBM that appeared to have signs of water damage. I told them I just had it replaced and mentioned that it must be a water leak somewhere. They told me the mechanic should have changed the wire harness also that’s connected to the BCM. He couldn’t change it because Ford doesn’t sell the wire harness. Sooooo Ford said that they could modify it. They also did a water trace but found nothing. Long story short, 11 months later I’m having the same issue. The part comes with a ten year 36k warranty BUT how can a certified mechanic who has ALL the resources, tools, and computers at your disposal and not figure this out. I guess at this juncture I’ll have them replace it and just trade it in!!!😡😡😡🤬🤬🤬

A lot of incompetence by others that do not have any deep knowledge of each function!
Sorry you're just finding this out with one issue.
Look for a water leak under the Hood at the passenger side COWL area for a poor seem seal.
The cable plugs may be able to be cleaned up with special spray cleaner and plugged up and removed several times to exercise the contacts.
Np guarantee but it may be a help.
Good luck.
I found this issue with my truck which caused water to drip on my BCM https://www.f150forum.com/f118/fixed...m_content=post
