Just had my car valeted. I didn't want to but it caught me off guard and we were late for dinner. Car looked good when returned. When I got back to the hotel, I examined it even closer and I found a really small round ding. It looks perfectly round as if a small BB put the ding there. I'm not even sure I can feel it when I rub it with my hand since it's so small.

I just got me thinking what could have caused this ding? It's so small it may have been on the car when I bought it a month ago.

 

Where is the ding located? Could have been anything from another door to the door coming in contact with the mirror of a truck beside it ( I include this example because I dented my driver's door exactly like this )

 

How about a rock chip on the roof almost at the rear of the truck by the 3rd brake light? I've got one of those, or a rock chip on the passenger bedside...

 

It's on the left outside of bed. About 6" from top of bed. Not a big deal just weird to see a perfectly round debt that is so small

 

There's always the possibility that someone did actually shoot it with a BB gun. People get jealous or just like to do stupid things...
