Default Battery Dead

I mistakenly left my 2018 in gear while parked for 2 days. Have I hurt anything?
I just now put a charger on it. It’s dead as a door nail.
I assume my OE AGM battery is good for longer than 3 1/2 years.

not likely.

3.5 years and drawing it all the way down may be enough to kill it. Like everything, batteries aren't what they used to be

I had to replace my OEM battery at about the 4 year mark. Yes, it may just need to be replaced. The Dealer told me 3-5 years is normally what they see.

I have an 18 Cert Pre-owned V8. Bought it in Sept, and today put a new H7 AGM Interstate in it. Bought it at Costco, great price. Seems it was testing yellow, and dealer did not say anything, but Ford sends me an email in the Ford App saying need a battery. You would believe it should be covered, but nope, and only have this vehicle 7 months. It had a Motorcraft H6 in it. Bought the bigger size.

Default 800cca

I went to my dealer and got another AGM Motorcraft battery. I Replaced the OE 760 cca with an 800 cca ( only $8 more).
it’s 2” longer, so the insul. jacket that fits around the battery had to be cut to fit.
36 month battery, hope it lasts longer than that. I thought AGM batteries lasted longer.
Gotta go to dealer now to get it reflashed.
