Without changing anything? maybe take a funnel, run a tube from the and route it to a shoebox? Lol oh wait you'll need to add a funnel and a shoebox...
Yeah the stock system sucks. Might just need to upgrade the speakers and an amp.

I picked up a Kicker Hideaway, really easy to install, you can just tap into your rear +/- wires, run the power to the battery, ground it under the back seat and instant bass. If you don't have the sony sub behind the seats, you can hide it back there or mount on the floor under your rear seat, could even fit under your front seats depending on what trim package you have and how many wires are under there. Picked it up on amazon for 229, came with everything needed.

I have a Lariat with the non Sony audio and added a JL Audio 8" sub and ported box under the rear seats (fits perfectly under the passenger side single seat) with a JL 250w amp and could not be happier. Bass is awesome! Like Infidex said, very straight forward install. I opted to have an audio shop do it for $90 just to avoid the summer heat in my garage but could have done it myself just as well. Cost with sub, amp, and install is about $400.

This sounds very interesting. Did you install this in place of the Sony sub? Can you post a pic?
Sorry for hijacking OP.

I'd love to see this, too. Sounds like a clean solution. Was it difficult to run the power all the way to the battery? How did you get it through the firewall?

I upgrade all my speakers with jbl gto speakers and added a jl steathbox. The stealthbox for the 2011-2014 screw fits in the 2015. I added a jl xd1000/5v2 amp to power everything. I have the 3.5 ecoboost so off course you have to deal with the fake engine noise saga. I keep my factory head unit. It's sounds really good

Kicker says they hope to have an early August release of their VSS system for 2015 F150s.
