Default Ball joints (Upper)

My wife's truck.
2014 F-150 SCREW Ecoboost 4x4

Need to replace my upper ball joints.
Luckily I looked and they are not part of the control arm.
They are the kind that have the retaining ring on top of the control arm so I can press them out.
Can I replace them without taking off the tires?

Maybe, but it'll be a hell of a lot easier to get the tire out of the way. LOL

My vote is leave the tires on. Just pull that ball joint out and stick the new one in.

It's going to take twice as long working around the tire than just pulling it off and you wasted as much time starting the thread and reading answers as you would taking the wheel off.

I bet you save even more time by not using a jack or floorstands.
