Default Backup Camera Wiring

I'm installing a Rosta backup camera on my 15 Screw 300A and the directions say to get power from a "reverse trigger". I've read thru the forums and seems that most get their "reverse trigger" from either their reverse lights or trailer plug. So my questions are:

Can I just tap a switch 12v in the cab area? I really don't wanna run another wire all the way back to the back bumper if I dont have to.

Is their a closer reverse trigger I can tap? Distro box in the engine compartment has the fuse for reverse lights, but look like a pita to route that wire also.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
