Default Backup camera

Hi, I have a 2015 platinum with the ecoboost engine. My backup camera just decided to stop working last week and I've been trying to diagnose it. When you put the car in park it does pull up the back up camera screen, but the half that shows the camera in the back is a complete blue screen, the 360 camera part on the right does show the truck, but it's completely frozen.
I've pulled out the rear camera and check the wiring and it's good there. My next guess is the wiring to the head unit is bad, but I wanna check on here first see if anyone has encountered this. I appreciate all the advice

Blue screen means the head unit is not getting any signal from the camera.
Check the connections to the tailgate harness. Located under the truck by the frame rail. They can come loose over time or get damaged from road debris.
There's also a connection near the center of the tailgate, closer to driver side under the bed.
