Back up camera issues
2016 xlt 3.5 eco crew
About a month ago I had a few reverses that wouldn't pull up the screen. Then it would go blue, or be split/zoomed on or static looking. It was very consistent with wet snowy roads and worked great as soon as it dried up. After I did the following it worked good for a week- now its off for good and the screen doesn't even read camera unavailable. Its as if it doesn't know its in reverse.
I checked the plug, cleaned it well and reinstalled with some dielectric. I also saw a ground down there. I removed and wire brushed it clean. Reinstalled. Inspected th harness best I could. But I keep coming up with different results when I search how some of you troubleshoot the camera.
before I just buy a camera- any other common issues or issues down the line that may contribute to my problem?
