Default Back seat issue

I am having issues getting the back seat on the drivers side to latch. Is there a trick to getting it to latch?

I’m assuming that you let the seat-back down and now when you stand it back up, the latch doesn’t engage. If that’s the case, just try different positions of the little rod to which the latch attaches. Or, fold up the seat bottom and seat back together. That should do the trick as well.

yes, that is what I'm talking about. I tried both of these options and still couldn't get it to latch. It never was latched when I bought the truck and I didn't notice it until later.
I guess I'll just go back to the dealer and get them to look at it.

that little bar willl slide up and down. Make sure the latch is in the open position and then slowly put the seat back up and watch to see where the bar is as the latch closes into place.

I had some issues getting my drivers side rear seat to latch after installing the LMI seat kit.

You have to "persuade" it to latch with a little force. You tell that seat latch who's boss. 'Nuff said.

it helps to angle the bottom while trying to latch the back. I thought this only applied to supercrews but apparently supercabs as well

This works, slamming doesn't. A little trial and error with patience and you'll feel it snap into place.
