Looking to install a back rack on my 2018 f150 with the 5.5ft box. With the plastic bedrail covers it doesn't have any front stake pockets. Has anyone cut their own holes and does a hole need to be drilled on the inside of the box through the aluminum?

I read on a thread here somewhere that the stake pocket is under the plastic rail cover. you can use a trim router bit to cut it out fairly smooth.
