Default Back in an F150

I done pulled the trigger on another F150 after being out of one for 2 years or so.

I had to search far and wide to find one that had options I wanted. I was looking to stay at the lower end of the price range which still put me at a higher price than I wanted to pay.

It's hard for me to believe that and XLT truck with cloth interior (though nicely optioned out) will sticker for 54 THOUSAND dollars. My first new F150 was a 2005 King Ranch all decked out with all the goodies (at the time) and that awesome saddle leather they used to use. I got it back when Ford did that big push on Employee Pricing in 2005. Anyway, I got that truck for 33k out the door. This thing was nearly 10k more than that. I digress, rant over.

I really wasn't looking to get into another white truck either but really liked the lower Grey 2-tone look with the Oxford White.

The only options that this doesn't have that I would have liked are the bed side-steps and the Kicker Sub.

I've already got her tinted and a new LoPro QT Tonneau cover is on the way. I also ordered the easy-down tailgate dampener kit and it arrived today.

Here's her spec:
2016 F150 XLT 157" (6.5' bed)
FX4 Package
302A Package
Chrome Appearance Package
3.5 Ecoboost
3.55 Electronic Locking Rear end
20" Chrome PVD Wheels (The dealer replaced the 18" ones)
Tailgate Step
40/Console/40 captains chairs
Rubber Mats
36 Gallon Ext'd Tank
Ford Spray-in Bedliner
Navigation
Tow package
Wheel Well Liners
Lower Two-Tone Paint
Trailer Brake Controller

Now for the pics...

welcome back... Is that a 6.5' bed or is the two tone playing tricks on me?

And yes, its crazy how expensive these trucks are getting.

Yes, you're correct. It's the 157" wheelbase 6.5' bed. This was the most important option for me and I left it off my list above.
I'll correct it.

They had plenty of short bed trucks on the lot but it was the long bed that made it hard to find here in FL.

Nice truck! A 6.5 bed is a must for me as well. Good that you got the wheel well liners. I have mine painted for now. Probably Husky liners somewhere down the road. Congratulations!
