OK. That is quite a collection of DTCs. What is the truck's history and why are you looking at these particular DTCs over all the others?

Here is some information on the two you are asking about. The following in italics is from the WSM:

BCM B115E:08 - Camera Module: Bus Signal/Message Failure
A continuous and on-demand DTC that sets in the BCM when there is a LIN communication fault from the video camera.
FCIM C1001:01 - Vision System Camera: General Electrical Failure
A continuous DTC that sets in the APIM when no video signal is detected from the rear camera when the vehicle is in REVERSE.
Possible causes for both of these are:
  • Wiring, terminal, or connectors
  • BJB Fuse 113 (7.5 A)
  • Communication concern
  • Rear parking aid camera
  • TR input concern
  • Infotainment display concern
  • LIN concern
  • BCM (without PTBA)
  • APIM
  • IPMB (with PTBA)
Rear Parking Aid Camera

The rear parking aid camera is located on the tailgate, below the tailgate release handle. On vehicles equipped with the 360 degree view camera system or with the rear only parking aid camera system with PTBA, the rear camera communicates with the IPMB through a LIN circuit. On vehicles equipped with the rear only parking aid camera system without PTBA, the rear camera communicates with the BCM through a LIN circuit. The camera must be configured using a diagnostic scan tool after replacement in order for all features to operate properly. (Electrical>Service Functions> LIN New Module Initialization or Electrical>Service Functions>LIN New Module Initialization- IPMB).

I would start looking at the wiring around the back of the truck and inside the tailgate that connects to the camera. Here is the rear camera schematic (I'm assuming without 360 camera).

In particular, pay attention to C406 and C408 that are behind the spare tire.

yeah definitely got ****ed when I bought the truck so it’s one them you always make sure you got tools on you. But reason for just messing with the back up camera is because I’m pretty mechanical savvy but I been trying get this camera to work for a year now off and on and it’s kicking my ***. I’m an electrician so first thing I did was check all the wires and make sure everything has what it’s supposed to. But idk what type of volts the radio signal wires are supposed to be. I can’t find anything online that helps me

Here is Pinpoint Tests A that both of those DTCs point to.

Good Luck.

Good Luck.

ok thank you. I’ll check into that and work on it tomorrow. Hopefully i can figure it out. Any chance you know if the video wires from camera go to the 4.2 display. Iv watched a video and said if you ohm out the pin 6 and 12 and get 75 omhs then it’s able to do a camera. And mine was able to. So I assume pin 6 and 12 are for the camera but both wires together ohm out so it can’t be that

Sorry I don't have an electrical schematic for a vehicle with the 4.2" screen.

Default 2020 navigator

I am getting a signal code as well in a navigator that I fixed from 2020 navigator that was in a collision. I’ll post it to see where I can start, possible lose connection but don’t know where this goes to. B115E:31 and B115E:31-OB.
