B1147-15 code
Back story. So I am out of town and my neighbor calls and wants to know if I am home, because he see the lights on my truck.
He goes over and finds my truck lights on. I may or may not have locked it before I went home, so he opened the door and turns the lights from auto to off.
He locks and closed the door and goes home.
I am watching this on my camera, so I call him back, give him my code and to try the key fob.
He plys with the fob and the lights go out, and then back on. He does this several times, finally we decide to undo the battery.
Not what I wanted to do when I get home.
My camera last recorded at 8:02 and no lights until he calls.
Looking at the all knowing internet gives lots of people had the problem.
The solutions range from fuse, to Daylight sensor to water in the wiring harness to the BCM.
If anyone has had the problem, let me know what you did.
I reconnected the battery last night, and tried to get the lights to do it again.
No luck. So I took it to a shop and they scanned the codes, and this is what came up.
Body control module
B1147-15 Left front fog lamps-Circuit short to battery or open. Not current. DTC
Tire pressure Monitor
B1147-15 Left front fog lamps-Circuit short to battery or open. Not current. DTC
Since the battery was disconnected, would the codes clear, and if they did, that means between 5 pm and 1 pm the next day, the code happened again.
Not sure where to go next.

The code tells you very specifically what the issue is.
For that light to turn on, it's positive lead has a short or access to >t battery< some where in the harness back to or at the Body module.
The module is behind the passenger side kick panel.
Look for a water leak into it from outside.
The lighting is switched on and off by a signal to the module. That signal drives a solid state switch for that circuit as does for other circuits.
There likely is a fault causing the intermittent issue, because there is power to the module at all times and fuse protected for shorts or crosses to ground as protection.
A short to ground would blow the fuse. An open ground, the light would not light up at all.
Good luck.
