Take a look through the sticky at the top of this forum...."Tracking Thread.....". I wouldn't go as far back as December 2017 because those orders were in during the 2 week plant shutdown so there are longer times in there. But there are a lot of people who posted their order dates, when they got their VIN, estimated delivers, etc. Pretty good info if you are looking at timelines for ordering a truck.

I've read before that someone had a record 6 months IIRC.

I got one in 4 weeks and my last one took over 5 months..... lol.

 

I ordered at the beginning of March. Salesman told me 6-8 weeks, but Ford COTUS website quoted about 65 days until delivery. We'll see how it goes. Currently at 52 days remaining until delivery...

 

I ordered 3/6 and dealer said I should have it no later than the end of April (6-8 weeks). 2 days later I received my VIN and COTUS shows estimated delivery of 5/10. Spoke to my dealer, he has a tentative build date of 4/23. He said plan on getting the truck mid to late May and if it comes in early, we will all be happy.

On order: 2018 Lead Foot XLT Sport SuperCrew 4x4, Special Edition, 302A, sunroof, NAV, BLIS, spray-in liner and soft tonneau cover.

 

7 weeks and 3 days. Just got delivered yesterday!

 

I ordered mid March. Dealer told me April production is full and the next build slot will likely be in May. The train ride to PNW adds about a month so he said early June is his best estimate. (ie 12 weeks).
It seems like a lot depends on how early in the month you place your order so you can catch the next months build before it fills up.

 

I ordered 12/19 truck was delivered 3/16 12 weeks 3 days but I also had the Holiday shutdown in between which cost 2 weeks

 

Most of these seem lighting fast compared to the 2018 Expedition I ordered. Placed the order on Feb 6, 2018 and it currently shows an expected delivery date on May 20, 2018. Close to 16 weeks, if it is on time.
