After installing this Autotech unit my 360 camera only works in "console" mode. When i m Android Auto mode and put in Reverse- nothing happens. Has anyone experienced the same issue?

360 Camera system only works with the SYNC module. The Console app is how you view SYNC information.
As for the backup camera, it should override all screens and be displayed when you're in reverse. Possible you have something that isn't configured correctly.
I have the same unit, but I do not have the factory 360 camera, so I cannot help on this particular issue.
