Default Automatic locking rear tailgate

Hi guys,

I just picked up my 2015 F-150 XLT FX4, and i'm loving it. I'm also glad I found this forum, too! I've been reading through threads almost nonstop for the past 24 hours.

Here's one I've not found yet (maybe I'm blind after so much reading...): How do I, or can I, turn off the automatic locking tailgate? It seems that, when the doors auto lock at a certain speed, so does the tailgate. Then, I get out of the truck, walk back to the tailgate, find it locked, walk back to the driver's door, unlock all the doors, go back to open the tailgate.

Thanks!

In settings you can turn on auto lock AND auto unlock for all locks.
So you either need to turn off auto lock or.......turn on auto unlock.

If you open the driver door before pulling the ignition key, all bets are off.

Also, welcome to the forum and good luck with the truck.
