Default Auto start/stop questions...

Is the auto start/stop standard on all Lariats regardless of engine? Can you some how get a Lariat without it? I see it's on all Platinums unless I'm missing something?

Would like to know if it's possible to not get it as it seems it might be annoying to have to turn off all the time.

With that said I've see the thread about trying to permanently turn it off and I'm no Forscan expert but I thought I saw that it could be disabled by going that route?

It is standard on all 2018 f150s regardless of trim and engine.

Not a big deal. You simply have to push a button on the dash to turn it off...or back on. No different than the other operations you do every time you get in your truck. You can't drive until you reach out, pull the shift lever and put it into gear. It becomes second nature.

Or go the FORScan route.

Pull the little black plug under the dash beside the 2 gray ones, it's to the left of the brake pedal. There has been no negatives to doing this on my truck and is reversible in about 5 seconds, plug it back in when you want to tow because it allows the brake lights to come on in your trailer.

I want to say they're referring to the multitude of existing threads on auto start stop.

I just leave mine on, the system works quite well I find.

Nothing to do with threads, but the method ... well, the mind boggles - it just boggles !!
