Default Auto Start/Stop Not Working?

Not that I am complaining, because I hate it. However, is this something that may affect something else? 2020 XLT.

If I'm not mistaken there are several items that affect whether the Auto SS enables or disables. Battery health is one, temperature and a few others.

I get a chuckle over this question.
You bet, there are more than 31 different parts/support systems to the Auto stop/start function.
Any one issue can inhibit auto stop/start. For example, the transmission has an electrically operated fluid pump. Failure means no auto start.
Need another one? The starter won't operate in auto mode.
Good luck.

Could be it's just charging. Push the right buttons and your dash will tell you. Short trips don't let it charge to a level where the computer will let the A/S/S function.

What does the instrument cluster say about why it is not working?
