That menu on the dash is for idle time and shutting the engine off is it not?

So glad I don't have the auto start/stop feature on my 2015...it would drive me bonkers to have to hit a switch each time. Still can't understand why Ford wouldn't make it optional and allow it to save the previous setting with engine off..... mind blowing that they know what's best for each individual driver out there HAHAH

They do this so they can maintain their argument for their MPG ratings. It has to be a permanent feature with the option to temporarily disable it. Its not like Ford it doing it to **** off the masses.

You might consider reading ............. page 168 where it cites "Automatic Engine Shutdown".
This. My 2017 has the Auto Engine Off....it is to prevent extended idling....it has nothing to do with Auto Start/Stop.

Ford makes it only temporary due to EPA regulations. Not their fault and not the only MFG that has to do the same.
