Does anyone know if you can change the time before the Auto Off kicks in. I find it a pain at times when you are in slow traffic and the truck keeps turning off and on. I know you can turn it off completely but it would be nice to tell the system not to shut off until you are at a complete stop for say 5 seconds.

 

Feather your break at the short stop instead of a hard foot on the break. When I know it's a short stop this keeps auto stop from kicking in.

 

No way to program it, but easy to manipulate it's behavior as described above.

Move the wheel slightly, only keep slight pressure on the brakes at a stop.

It will also not turn off if the defrost is on, but you can also just hit the switch on the dash.
